Vascular Treatments
Telangiectasias or thread veins or spider veins are usually small dilated boold vessels near the surface of the skin, measuring between 0.5 to 1mm in diameter. Although they can develop anywhere on the body they are more commonly seen on the face, cheeks, nose and chin.
These are not regarded as a serious medical condition but their appearance on exposed areas makes the sufferer feel self-conscious about them.
